What is Kudi Accounting?
Online accounting and tax software for businesses in Ghana. It keeps your invoices, expenses, bank and Mobile Money records together and prepares your Ghana tax figures and financial reports.
How do I create an account and sign in?
Choose Start free on the homepage and register with your email. If you already have an account, use Sign in. Sign-in is handled by our secure shared Nexus identity service, so you may briefly pass through a Nexus sign-in screen before returning to Kudi — that is expected and your session is for Kudi.
I was sent to a Nexus sign-in page — is that right?
Yes. Kudi uses the shared Nexus Innov8 identity service to sign you in securely, then brings you straight back to Kudi. Your account and your business data are Kudi's.
How do I set up my business?
After signing in, add your business details (name, TIN and VAT status) and your chart of accounts. You can run more than one business from the same account, each kept separate. See the Help Centre for a walk-through.
How do I send an invoice and record a payment?
Go to Invoices, create the invoice and send it. When the customer pays, record the payment (in full or in part); what is still owed shows under Receivables. To reverse or adjust, issue a credit note.
Can I record expenses and Mobile Money?
Yes. Record expenses and supplier bills, and keep cash, bank and Mobile Money together under Cash & Bank, then reconcile.
How does Kudi handle Ghana tax?
Kudi helps you prepare VAT and the levies (NHIL, GETFund, COVID-19), PAYE for staff, withholding tax you deduct, and income or company tax. Use the free GRA calculators for quick figures. Kudi prepares the numbers and keeps you ready for the GRA; you remain responsible for what you file.
Does Kudi run payroll?
Not in this release. Kudi helps with PAYE figures for staff, but full payroll processing is not offered yet.
Where can I see reports and exports?
Under Financial Reports, with cash-flow and registers alongside. Reports can be exported when you need to share or file.
Is my data safe, and can other businesses see it?
No other business can see your data. Each business's records are strictly separated at the database level, and access is controlled by role. More detail on Security & your data.
What does Kudi cost?
You can use the tax calculators without signing up, and the Free plan covers 1 business, 1 user and up to 15 invoices a month. Essentials is GHS 99 a month and Business, which adds payroll for up to 10 staff, is GHS 199 a month. Paying yearly gives you 2 months free. For accounting practices, contact our team.
